Our Societies Economy

Our economy is so ridiculously messed up that it seams like it is beyond repair. We have to many white color jobs within the United States. In order to change our economy, we should start by bringing back factories to the US. Labor may be more expensive here in the States but we could really use the jobs. Plus by closing down factories in other countries, we will stop exploiting and taking advantage of citizens from other countries. Just because labor costs are less expensive, doesn't make it okay. Big time corporate CEO's don't care about the health or well being of people in other countries though. All they care about is how they are going to make their next million the cheapest and fastest way possible. In order to change our society, we must first start by changing ourselves.

US also imports way to much, and doesn't do enough exporting. You wonder why all our clothing and material objects in general say "Made in China." Seams as if China basically owns US.

Change of Perception "Tuesdays with Morrie"

This book was absolutely amazing, inspiring and heart warming. The strongest message that I felt that Morrie was trying to teach was: To be grateful for what you have, because you never know when you're going to be gone.

I totally agreed with Morrie when he said that people in our society put to much meaning to the wrong things in life, such as material objects.

"That my consciousness goes on... That I'm part of the universe"(199)
This quote was so powerful. It really reached out to me. Mind is still mind even after death. Just as water is still water even if you break the cup.

I recommend others to read this book. It will most likely change your perception on life. I know it did mine.

My Recipe for a Meaningful Life

When it comes to living a meaningful life, I feel that one should first start off by being themselves. Instead of being someone you're not, just to fit in with that supposedly "cool" group. I know from experience. When I was younger I tried to fit into a group that was not me. I felt out of place and could not flourish into the person I wanted to be. So my advise would be, be yourself and you will fall into the group that suits you. Surround yourself with people that are going to take you for who you are and not judge you for every flaw you make, because life's a journey that's bound for mistakes.

Find something that drives you, something that you are passionate for. Mine would be music. Without my passion for music, I'm not even sure who I would be today. Take music away, my life turns into a life without meaning. That's how important music is to me.

Don't live your life in fear of dying or you will never live happy, instead embrace death because it's only a mere change of reality.

Spiritual Mind Treatment

Atoms that form everything created are that of spirit. Flowing infinitely and effortlessly. Knowing no boundary. Forever living.

Our life itself, is that of spirits. Forever flowing with eternal love. Infinite in every possibility. Our life is that without boundary or borders. We truly are unbound by limit. There for we are beyond.

In this moment we are perfect pure and complete. Creative with our thoughts in every aspect. Giving and receiving with open prosperity. Loving with great aptitude.

From hearing and feeling this truth, forever grateful we are. Knowing that what has been said here today will always be truth, and was true from the begging of time.

Now we let go, releasing this thought back into the universe. Back into the law of mind. Forever its done, and so it is.

"Cirque Du Freak"

Cirque Du Freak: A Living Nightmare written be Darren Shan, published by HarperCollins.

This book is about a boy named Darren Shan, yes I know, the main character of the book is the author of the book. The boy is just a ordinary kid who really likes spiders, which happens to get him into some trouble, that will change the course of his entire life. Darren and a group of his friends find a flyer of this freak show called Cirque Du Freak, hints the name of the book. They think it looks exciting and decide to go despite what horrible things their teacher tells them about it. You can only buy 2 tickets per flyer though. So the boys had to play a little game to see who went, since there is 4 of them. Steve is already one of the people going since he was the one who got the flyer back from their teacher. Steve is Darren's best friend. Since Darren is the main character its obvious he wins the little game. Steve and Darren go to the broken down part of town to get the tickets and go to the show. Little does Darren know that hes going to end up seeing a beautiful spider, that he must have. Severe consequences will follow after the taking of Mr. Crepsley's spider Madam Octa, you'll have to read the book to find out. The theme of the book is boy vs. world.

I really enjoyed this book because it is dark and about a demented circus of extraordinary people, even a wolf man.  There's also a strong message within the book, that one choice you make can change your life for the worst. "In real life, bad things happen. People die. Fights are lost. Evil often wins."(6) "I'm sure there are people who came tonight thinking this was a joke. Maybe they thought our freaks would be people in masks, or harmless misfits. This is not so ! Every act you see tonight is real. Each performer is unique. And none are harmless."(61) The movie The Vampires Assistant was based on the Cirque Du Freak books, but the movie was terrible. The movie tried to combine book 1 with 2, which didn't work out to well. They changed to much within the movie to the point where it was almost nothing like the book. This book made me realize that their are just somethings in life that are truly out of your control, and that there are severe reactions to your careless actions, so think of the possibilities before you act.

Growth

The feeling you get from a courageous act, taking that possibility, throwing yourself into the open. Spirits purist form as you. Then the admire and awe from the essence that is the audiance. Growth is here everday, these risks I take, are in which I experiance it. Grateful I am, for the infinite.

Spirit

Pure essence

that flows without resistance

in and out of space as the fastest space ship

across the galaxy and beyond, bound by no limit

free to sore where ever, just like a bird

space between all that is created, the one that is the universe, united with all

Beautiful and loving, wise and amazing, awing in every possible way

whole, complete and infinite

Life itself...

2 Ads for different audiences

Even though these ads are both for colognes, there directed towards different audiences and have different hooks.
The audience for this ad is country men and women. The hook is the image of a celebrity. They are also trying to sell the county lifestyle, fashion and fame. It even states "live the legend."

The audience of this ad are couples thinking about getting married or already are married. The hook is marriage and romance. They are also trying to sell happiness. "More than a fragrance, a promise..." This statement makes it sound like the fragrance will assure a perfect marriage.

Some of my beliefs

Jamming with a friend is one of my favorite sources of entertainment. Its such an amazing feeling, that only musicians can really understand. Its like sharing apart of your soul with someone. Complementing each others tones, and singing as if your talking just like its a normal thing to do.
This is the first guitar I ever received. My grandma is the one who bought it for me, so it has great sentimental value. I will never sell this guitar and I cherish it dearly, as if its apart of me. Eventually someday I will pass this on to my children, which I don't yet have and hopefully not anytime soon.
This is a picture I took when I was on a ski lift. I'm terribly scared of heights, so this was a tough thing for me to do. The fact I did ride it, is what amazed me. It made me realize that from facing my fear of heights, made me grow into someone that takes risks more often.
I'm a very social person, so having friends to connect with is very important to me. I'm always looking for someone new to form a bond with of some sort. Isn't that the whole reason as to why were put on this earth, is connection?
I took this photo at a concert I went to. The man in this photo is Victor Wooten, an amazing bassist. Why I post this, is to explain that you don't truly hear an artist music, until you hear them live. Studio versions of songs are so limited compared to live performance. Artist can put so much more feeling into live music.

These are just a few of my beliefs, hope you enjoy.

What???!!! BB King and John Mayer playing together

This is an amazing performance with two of the most incredible blues guitarists in history. What makes it amazing is these two guitarist are from too different time eras but even though there's difference in age, the meaning of Blues is still the same.

Phoneless

Its such a strange feeling being without your phone for a long period of time. Almost as if you're missing a part of you. This goes to show how dependent we are on our cell phones. I notice without my cell phone though, I can focus on everyday activities so much easier. Without having that urge to pull out and check my phone every 5 minutes. Not being available at any given time is relaxing to me. So try and go a day without your phone and see how it makes you feel. It can be quite a peaceful experience.

Guitar always in hand

No matter where I go I usually always have my guitar on me because you can never know when you're going to make up that million dollar riff.

Inspiring

I find what John Mayer has to say within this full length concert to be quite inspiring, whether your a musician or not.Plus some great songs. He also talks about playing guitar alone in a room for 8 years before he even started playing with a band. Which reminds me, I do the same thing.  If only I could have witnessed this concert live. His version of free falling is also pretty amazing. Hope you enjoy.

Release you say?

I'm curious about where people actually get released to in "The Giver." I think it may be possible that there's two separate places to go when released because there a release on bad terms, such as if you break the big time rules twice. But there is also the release when you get to a certain age, which is more like a celebratory kind of release. This will all be revealed as I edge towards the end of the book. Quite intrigued in finding out.

The best song that wasn't even his!

This is a great form of success to me. Jimi Hendrix took a song by The Leaves called "Hey Joe."
Then made it famous by recreating it with his on feeling. That's why being original leads to success in my eyes.

Here's the original version of "Hey Joe" by The Leaves.
I'm posting it as well so you can understand what I mean by the difference.
